Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Commitment Fund! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Commitment Fund services ("Service"), including participation in accountability challenges, payments, and goal tracking. By signing up and using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and User Account

  • Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

  • Each user may create only one account. Multiple accounts per individual are not allowed.

  • Users are responsible for keeping their login details secure and are solely responsible for all activities that occur under their account.

2. Service Overview

  • Upon joining, users commit to completing specified weekly goals (“Commitments”) by set deadlines.

  • Commitments are set on Sunday nights before 11:59 pm PST and must be completed by the following Wednesday at 11:59 pm PST.

  • If Commitments are not met, the user’s card will be charged an amount equal to their wager, with a minimum wager starting at $25, increasing by $25 for every set of missed commitments (up to a maximum of $100).

  • Users who successfully complete their Commitments for two consecutive weeks will have their minimum wager reset to $25.

3. Payments and Wagering

  • All payments, including the initial joining fee and subsequent wagers, are processed through credit card transactions.

  • If a payment fails (e.g., due to insufficient funds), the amount owed will remain due, with the possibility of going to collections if unpaid within 180 days.

  • No additional fees are associated with transactions.

4. Commitment Proof Submission

  • Users must submit proof (photo or screenshot) of completed Commitments via our designated submission method (text to 919-816-7782).

  • Proof submissions must indisputably demonstrate that the Commitment has been completed.

  • Submitted proof will be securely stored in a private database to ensure confidentiality.

5. Refunds and Dispute Resolution

  • Users may request a review of charges by submitting a request through the Help section on our website (https://www.commitmentfund.com/help).

  • Refunds may be issued at the discretion of the Commitment Fund based on the outcome of the review process.

  • Chargebacks are not permitted.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

  • The Commitment Fund reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user’s account if they fail to maintain accurate and valid payment information.

  • Users may delete their accounts at any time.

7. Privacy Policy and Data Collection

  • We collect and store payment details along with user demographic information (gender, age, and country).

  • Personal data, including photos used as proof, is securely stored and protected as per our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The Commitment Fund is not liable for any outcome related to goal achievement or the accuracy of goal tracking.

  • If a user believes they were incorrectly charged, they must submit a dispute through the Help section of the website.

  • Our Service is provided “as is,” and we disclaim any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Communication and Notifications

  • Users will receive automated reminders and notifications regarding their Commitments and account status via SMS and email.

  • By using the Service, users agree to receive such communications.

10. Modifications to Terms

  • The Commitment Fund reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

  • Users will be notified of any changes via email, and continued use of the Service following such notifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
